Sapphire FUE Hair Transplant
Sapphire blades replace steel in channel opening. Smaller, cleaner incisions allow denser placement and faster healing.
What is Sapphire FUE?
Sapphire FUE refines the channel-opening stage of classic FUE. The micro-channels that receive the grafts are opened with blades made of synthetic sapphire rather than steel. The sapphire edge is sharper and smoother, so tissue trauma is reduced.
In practice this means narrower channels, grafts placed closer together and a shorter crusting period. The difference is most visible along the frontal hairline, where density matters most.
Who is it for?
It is our first choice for patients with an adequate donor area who need broad coverage. Between 3,000 and 5,000 grafts can be placed in a single session.
Recovery
The first wash is done at our clinic on day three. Crusts clear within 10-14 days. Transplanted hairs enter shock loss at 3-4 weeks — an expected stage. Permanent growth begins around month four and the final result is seen at month twelve.
