Hair Transplant for Women
For a high forehead, thinning at the parting or traction loss — unshaven work, planned alongside a hormonal assessment.
Find the cause first
Hair loss in women progresses differently and rarely has a single cause. Iron deficiency, thyroid disorders, the postpartum period, PCOS and traction loss from tightly tied styles are all common. We therefore ask for blood work and a dermatological assessment before surgery. Transplanting over active, untreated loss does not give a lasting result.
Unshaven planning
For most of our female patients we work without cutting the hair, opening a window in the donor area. Lowering a high forehead and densifying the parting are the two plans we carry out most often.
Realistic expectations
The goal is usually not a new hairline but reframing the hair you already have. A well-planned 2,000 grafts can visibly change how the face is framed.
